PAS 2060:2014 is being officially withdrawn from use on November 30, 2025. It is being replaced by ISO 14068-1:2023. Royale^® has proactively transitioned to ISO 14068-1:2023 to align with the most up-to-date standards for claims of carbon neutrality.

What is a Product Carbon Footprint?

A lifecycle product carbon footprint measures the total greenhouse gas emissions from cradle-to-grave that is from extraction of raw materials through to the products manufacture, distribution, use and eventual disposal. It is measured in carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2e).

Royale^® tissue products have achieved carbon neutrality on the total carbon footprint of products sold in Canada from cradle-to-grave in accordance with ISO 14068-1:2023. This includes the carbon footprint of all scopes including input materials, production, distribution, use-phase and end-of-life of tissue products.
